![]() What can be said to do this app justice? With over 1,000 features the ways in which your productivity can benefit from this app are nearly endless.Īs soon as you fire it up LaunchBar will start saving time for finding and accessing ANYTHING on your Mac. If you aren't using LaunchBar, you are unnecessarily wasting time! Whatever you want to get done on your Mac – with LaunchBar, it’s only a few keystrokes away. LaunchBar is THE smart and powerful, keyboard driven productivity utility that lets you access and control every aspect of your digital life. This is terrible for people who wqork with multiple screens.Words legitimately can't describe how much this program will increase your productivity. This is one of a few issues which Apple haven't worked on and don't seem to have any intention of working on. But its impossible to set the dock to stay in the middle. It makes no sense to have to 'crick my neck' to the fatrthest point left or right of my desk to control my apps from the dock. The only way to get thge dock to stay put on the same monitor, is to set 'lef' or 'right'īut that means my main dock is to the far right of the right hand screen or to the far left of the left hand screen. But sometimes its gone, and i have to mouse around left or right monitors to find out where it is. ![]() This is extremely bothersome, because i always look to the middle screen at the of the bottom of the screen to use the dock. However, 'bottom' alignment will case the dock to switch to any of the three monitors, depending on which one i currently clicked on an app in last. I would like the dock to be in the middle monitor on the bottom of screen I use three monitors currently side by side. My issue is that even with dock hiding set to off, the dock hides itself until you click on the right screen where its hiding (when using multiple monitors) So given this additional insight does your setup work this same way when you have Bottom set for Dock location and try seeing if the dock appears on each of the three monitors in the same way? Still no luck on putting Dock on either right or left and having it appear on anything other than the monitor that has the Toolbar associated with it (top monitor in my case). This "theory" is based on setting my two monitors in a slightly offset vertical arrangement where there really is multiple "bottoms". And if you place the cursor anywhere along the bottom of the lowest monitor then the dock should appear. If you place cursor on lower right corner of rightmost monitor then dock should appear. So in your three monitor image case you have above, the dock should appear in leftmost monitor if you place cursor in the lower left corner of it. If you set the dock to appear at the "Bottom" and move the cursor to the portion of the screen of any of the three monitors that is NOT shared, then the Dock should appear on that monitor. Given your three monitor setup I think you discovered a way around the vertical setup limitation I talked about earlier. ![]() I learned this from the article at all-monitors-1311709 This has been the case for quite a while - at least since Yosemite (I verified on a Yosemite two monitor setup also). If you have a vertical arrangement, selecting either "Right" or "Left" for the Dock location in the Dock System Preferences pane, and the Dock DOES NOT MOVE to the corresponding monitor edge you move the cursor to - inconsistent and a BIG BUMMER. So if you have a horizontal arrangement (which you can change in the Displays System Preferences pane), select "Bottom" for the Dock location in the Dock System Preferences pane, and if you move the cursor to the Bottom of any of the monitors the Dock should appear there in a second or two (I verified this in a two monitor setup - so hopefully OP can verify this in a three monitor setup). Unfortunately, only the horizontal Display layout and the "Bottom" Dock setting will allow the Dock to migrate to whichever screen bottom you place the cursor at (takes a second or two for the Dock to appear on the new monitor). Not sure what will happen if you form some sort of "L" shaped pattern as I only have two monitors in my setup - would guess that the rule still holds but unable to verify - perhaps OP can verify with his triple monitor setup? If you organize them vertically there are multiple "Left" and "Right" but a single bottom. Since all displays form a single virtual display surface, there is only one "Right" and one "Left" but multiple "Bottoms" if the displays are organized horizontally from left to right. You can get the Dock to appear on any single monitor of a multiple monitor setup, but with a caveat.

![]() My FAVORITE part of the website is the Medicaid billing feature. Either input percentages into the session or use the super easy data tracker tool and simply hit plus and minus on you phone, iPad, or laptop during the session! Bonus, it creates super amazing graphs that make me look REALLY good in IEP meetings. Once you input your students goals into the system it is super quick and easy to track data. Last year I went totally digital with my data and it has never been easier. The website includes the evidence in all of the skill packs AND an evidence table to quickly peruse so you know what you are doing is evidence based! All of the work is done for you! Easy and quick to Track Data It functions very similar to google calendar (but like a magical google calendar tailor made for SLPs) so it is SUPER easy to use! Evidence Based easy to change!), plan your week, keep data and notes about sessions, and medicaid bill all from the super easy to use dashboard. One of the things I love the most is the calendar feature. You have to see it to believe it! Easy to Use Schedule/Calendar I couldn’t even list out how much is included. Nikon has made much noise about the Z-mount's larger 55mm inner diameter and shortened distance between lens flange and image sensor, versus Nikon's F-mount. The lens barrel features just a single AF/MF switch, but the wide, tactile and precise manual focus ring isn’t redundant if you’re using autofocus, as it can also be set in-camera to adjust exposure compensation or ISO sensitivity. ![]() Nikon's standard prime for its full-frame mirrorless Z cameras packs a 12-element optical stack which includes two ED glass elements as well as two aspherical elements to boost contrast and vibrancy.Įxternally, the Z 50mm is noticeably bigger and heavier than a good old F-mount Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8G, but compared with some F-mount 50mm alternatives from Sigma and Tokina, it’s pleasingly portable. Considering its accessible pricing, this lens is a great value budget buy. There’s a little more distortion than with some rival lenses, but it’s rarely noticeable. Sharpness is also better than from Canon’s 50mm f/1.4 lens, from the centre to the edges.Ĭolour fringing is minimal at wide apertures and negligible at other apertures. The lens has a metal rather than plastic mounting plate, and a better-rounded aperture based on seven diaphragm blades instead of just five.Īfter testing multiple samples of the Canon 50mm f/1.4 and f/1.8 lenses, we've found the f/1.8’s autofocus system to be much more accurate and reliable than its older sibling. The focus ring no longer rotates during autofocus, which improves handling, as well as enabling manual override in Single AF mode. Unlike previous f/1.8 editions, the ‘STM’ model has a stepping motor autofocus system that gives speedy yet quiet operation. It’s two-thirds of an f/stop slower, but is less than a third of the price, is much lighter and has better performance. Best 50mm lens: Equivalent focal lengthsĬanon’s 25-year-old 50mm f/1.4 lens might seem the obvious choice, but we prefer this newer option. We've split the guide into sections to make it easier to navigate, so you can easily find your system of choice. That's why we've put together this extensive guide of 50mm lenses for all the major mounts that are out there right now, as well as some that are available for multiple systems. There's a lot of choice out there, that's for sure. Cheap lenses tend to top out at f/1.8, which is still pretty useful in low light, and they have their own advantages too, as their simpler optical builds make them lighter and more portable. Of course, spending more will mean you get better features – a wider maximum aperture up to f/1.4, or even f/1.2, for instance. ![]() These lenses also run the gamut in terms of price – it's possible to spend a four-figure sum on some of the best 50mm lenses out there, but there are also some ultra-budget optics at there that offer surprisingly good quality for a minimal outlay. As its name suggests, FreeDOS is a fully-compatible but completely free and open source remake of DOS that can handle just about everything its proprietary counterpart can. That business-critical software may rely on MS-DOS, but it’ll run just as happily on a FreeDOS shell. We're still seeing bespoke, newly-developed text-mode apps that run directly from the shell, probably because the complexity and potential for disaster that graphical interfaces add to the mix is not worth the risk in situations that demand 100% uptime. Given that it's free, it's certainly worth a test to see if any of your older business-critical applications are compatible – setting up workstations without Windows licensing is a tempting prospect, although we can't vouch for its resistance to attacks.Ī ridiculous amount of business software relies on MS-DOS, even to this day. Your mileage may vary – it's certainly not going to play nice with high-end games or software, and ReactOS isn't quite up to the Windows 11 level yet. It's completely open source, uses no proprietary Windows code, yet ReactOS is designed to be (and in some cases actually is) compatible with Windows drivers and applications. ReactOS does the same for the Windows NT architecture upon which all modern Windows versions are based. Linux, as you may know, is a ground-up reinterpretation of UNIX. After this song a very special track starts. ![]() With a choir and a nice rhythm it is easy to go along with the beat. The song is really catchy, but not in an annoying way. Unchain Utopia (the new single, available from 4-4) is a track that would do nicely as a single if they made a radio-edit. It has a quiet part in the middle, a no nonsense part after, nice melodies on keys and guitar and a nice spoken voice. This one makes it to nearly eight minutes and contains all the well-known parts of Epica. Previous releases had three or four long tracks on the album, this time it’s two. The fifth track on the record is Sense Without Sanity and this is one of the longer tracks. With the choirs, strong grunts by Mark Jansen and again some great vocals by Simone this is one of my favorite tracks. The song is loud, but the balance is near perfect here as well. Victims of Contigency continues this newfound hard sound with a double bass of ‘The Beast’. This is bound to be a fan favorite on the upcoming tour. The track is hard, starting with grunts and has found a great new balance with regards to how loud the band can go. The song hit a chord with fans worldwide right away and also created some new fans. The third track on the album The Essence of Silence was previously released by means of a lyric video. It will be a great opener for the new live shows, not messing about, but going full force right away. This track is very solid with hard drums from Ariën ‘The Beast’ van Weesenbeek, a nice solo by Isaac Delahaye and the beautiful clean vocals from Simone Simons. Therefore you easily flow into The Second Stone after the intro. From the first notes of opening track Originem the listener knows that this will be great! The advantage of all the records of this band is that they have a clear beginning and end. The very recognizable sound has stayed, but the tones have changed. With this new record the band has partly entered a new road. The record will be released on the second of May 2014 and will be presented a few days earlier, on April 30 in the 013 in Tilburg. ![]() Unfortunately this doesn’t stand for The Quasimodo Effect, but for the much better title: The Quantum Enigma. The band released their first record in 2003 and this year sees the release of number six. This appears to be the same frequency with which the band Epica releases their new albums.
